I love exploring objects with my hands and I adore simple and well-made things.
My approach to the project is curious and practical, with a particular focus on the innovation of the use of materials and objects.
I have always cultivated a solid technical background that I use to intervene on production processes in an innovative way and to relate to artisans, suppliers and engineers speaking their same language.
I love the timeless shapes and the wisdom of the anonymous design products; my project investigation is led by curiosity and creativity, passing through the knowledge and control of each implementation phase.
Both aesthetic value and functional value matter equally.
I am passionate about music and I seek beauty in everything, recognizing its universal communicative value.
Born in a family of fine woodworkers, I've breathed the wood smell and the passion for the details care.
Since I was a child my grandfather and my father, during the summers spent in their workshop, taught me their manual skills and that sensitivity for materials typical of artisans, a mix of experience, respect, savoir-faire and taste for beauty that has always fascinated me, to the point of leading me to abandon my music studies to dedicate myself to the world of design.
I studied Accounting and then Industrial Design at Politecnico di Torino.
From 2010 to 2015 I worked at Serralunga, a company that produces design furniture for outdoor use. I started as an intern in the technical office until I took on the role of R&D manager, developing projects for internationally renowned architects and designers.
Over the years I presented the Honey and the Babà lamps at the Salone del Mobile, designed together with the Arch. Raffaella Mangiarotti.
Looking for new stimuli, in 2014 I started collaborating with PZ5 Cobra, a semi-artisan company that works in the field of mechanics for the motorcycle world, special parts for Supermoto, Cross and Enduro races designed and manufactured internally.
I deal with developing markets by personally following the commercial part and building a distribution and assistance network with partners located all over the world.
I designed the new brand identity, together with the e-commerce catalog and the exhibition stands for EICMA.
In 2018, following the passing of one of the two owners, I took on the role of COO and I reorganized the company to improve its efficiency and production quality.
With this in mind, in 2021 I began the redesign process of the entire product range, repositioning the brand in the highest market segment in terms of quality, aesthetics and functionality.
In 2024 I started my design studio in Biella, where I continue to deal with the design of special parts for motorcycles, but also with furniture and lamps with a growing interest in the world of collectible design and, occasionally, graphics.
