A high-performance braking system developed for S1GP World Supermoto Championship races, conceived as a highly integrated mechanical object.
The project explores how complexity can be reduced through formal clarity, precision and proportion.
The system was designed by treating each component not as an isolated part, but as part of a coherent mechanical architecture.
Special attention was given to the relationship between elements, tolerances and surfaces, aiming for a balance between structural efficiency and visual order.
Rather than adding complexity, the project focuses on controlling it, using design as a tool to organise forces, movements and constraints.
Form & Integration
Despite the high number of components, the system appears compact and legible.
Surfaces, radii, and transitions are designed to express precision and robustness while maintaining a restrained, purposeful aesthetic.
The result is a mechanical system where engineering logic and formal consistency converge into a single, readable object.
